Local Comic Artist Features Search and Rescue in Brandoon Heroish
Local cartoonist and community advocate Curt Shoultz creates a compelling story through his comic pages, Brandoon Heroish published in Saturday’s edition of the Brandon Sun, about four teenagers on the graduation committee of their high school searching for ways to convey the true nature of heroism for graduation day. While exploring various “heroic” occupations in the community, we suddenly come across these teens assisting local authorities along with a search and rescue volunteer group, to locate a lost child.
Background of all of our lives is Heroism — Curt Shoultz
We are fortunate to live in a community where many of us understand the value of volunteering time and resources back into the very place we call home. The important distinction that Mr. Shoultz conveys in his work is that part of what makes a hero is through dedication, by honouring your commitments.
Brandon Regional Search and Rescue would like to thank Curt Shoultz for his talent and insight. Brandoon Heroish is featured in every Saturday issue of the Brandon Sun from February 24, 2018 to June 16, 2018. You will find completed comic works on his website at https://sellfy.com/curtshoultz.
