Brandon Search and Rescue has a new capability. We have acquired two new KEQJSK electric mountain bikes to assist in searches and provision of assistance at events. In addition Burley (http://burley.com) have donated two bike trailers to transport equipment, further improving our capability to respond on any of of our Search and Rescue tasks. Once again thank you to Burleys for their donation.


Thanks to the team members who provide First Aid for the RMNP Half Marathon on 17 Sep. Our participation helps awareness of us and what we do for the community.


Today, our team took off our hats and held a moment of silence for those who lost their lives 20 ago in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. Part of our team training is to practice those skills necessary in a winter ground search and rescue operation. On February 23, 2019, BRSARA members participated in the Coldest Night of the Year, providing First Aid support as needed. Hosted by Samaritan House Ministries, this important community event helps to support the homeless population throughout our coldest winter months. It was a scorching hot day on August 11, 2018 as the BRSARA team prepared for signs of heat exhaustion and dehydration as part of our First Aid commitment to the Manitoba Mudrun in Dauphin, MB.
